FANTASTIC FACES has been established since 2003 and is based in Newton Abbot,South Devon.It's run by Karin Lee who's mum to two young boys.
Karin has been a member of FACE-The Face Painting Association since 2008(FACE stands for Fast Accredited Creative Expert).Members of FACE have to pass a certification test demonstrating speed and quality of painting,knowledge of products and an understanding of hygiene,health and safety.Please visit www.facepaint.co.uk for more info 
Karin has £5ml public liability insurance and also has an enhanced CRB check(though a CRB is not currently a requirement for facepainters).Proof of these are available on request.
In addition to Karin,our other main team members are Jo who's been painting for five years, and Tracy,who as well as being a facepainter is also a talented balloon modeller!Both Jo and Tracy have a current CRB check and Jo is also a qualified pediatric first aider-both are insured.
All our face painters have received training.We also meet up regularly with other face painters to compare ideas and keep up with new products & techniques from the face and body painting world.We've recently attended training for 'one stroke' designs which uses striped paints for really quick & effective designs such as roses,crocodiles etc.As with all our painting,this is a technique we are now using regularly & improving on with each booking.
Without exception we all love what we do and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a childs' face when they look in the mirror after being painted-the excitement of a little boy becoming spiderman,or a little girl seeing herself transformed into a beautiful sparkly princess is lovely to see!

Feb 21st & 22nd-working for Hele's Angels in connection with Child Safety Awareness there will be free face painting between 10am-2pm at The Windmill Centre,Torquay on the 21st & the Acorn Centre,Torquay on the 22nd.

March 2nd-we will be at Newton Abbot & District Sure Start Childrens Centre at Haytor View Primary School between 10am-12.30pm.
March 5th-working for Newton Abbot Childrens Centre,we will be in Newton Abbot town center from 10am-4pm.

April 29th-we will be offering face painting & glitter tattoos at Kingskerswell Parish Church Centre to help celebrate the Royal Wedding-lots of other things happening too.Times aprox from 1-5pm.
May 28th-we will be attending a fete organised by a local Traders Association at Old Mill Rd,Chelston from 2-5pm,offering face painting & glitter tattoos.
May 30th-Kingsteignton Ram Roast.There will be 3 face painters attending this very popular annual event.This will be our 3rd year there & we'll be offering face painting & glitter tattoos.
July 2nd-2 painters will be attending Wolborough Primary Schools Summer Fete-also offering glitter tattoos.
July 24th-we will be attending 'Summerfest'-a music festival in Broadclyst,nr Exeter-more details to follow.
July 31st-for the 8th year we will once again be at Kingskerswell Summer Fete-always well attended with lots do do & see.Times to follow.
